Frequently Asked Questions

Will I get an assigned seat if I buy a General Admission ticket?

ANSWER: General Admission is "festival seating". This means that you may want to arrive earlier, while the selection is greatest, and enjoy the Program Notes before the concert. In any event, you will not have trouble finding a good seat — CLICK HERE to see a seating chart for Skyview Hall in a separate window.

Where is "Reserved Seating"?

ANSWER: The Reserved Seating section is made up of rows K, L, and M, in the center section of the hall — CLICK HERE to see seating chart.

Can I pick my seat within the Reserved Seating section?

ANSWER: No, but when we call you following your Reserved Seating ticket purchase, you can tell us your preferences and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

What provisions do you have for seating people with mobility issues?

ANSWER: Row AA (CLICK HERE to see seating chart) in the General Admission section is specifically designed for patrons needing easy-access seating. Arriving slightly early will give you the greatest selection of locations.

I want to buy one of the Sunday Concert ticket packages but I know that I will be out of town at least one of the Sundays. What can I do?

ANSWER: Exchanging a ticket for an alternate date is easily arranged — just call the VSO office at 360-735-7278 as soon as you recognize a scheduling conflict and they will work out the details with you.

I want to buy a 3-Concert ticket package – how do I let you know which concerts I want to attend?

ANSWER: If you are purchasing Reserved Seating, this will be confirmed when we contact you to determine your seating preferences. For General Admission Seating, you do not need to let us know which concerts you will be attending.

Are there handling fees or taxes on concert ticket purchases?

ANSWER: There is no sales tax, but online purchasers will be charged a small fee ($2.25 per transaction, no matter how many total items are included) to help defray credit card usage charges.

I would love to give tickets as gifts, but I don't know which concert or days would be appropriate for each person. Do you have gift certificates that recipients can apply as they wish?

ANSWER: Yes – please call the VSO office at 360-735-7278 to arrange the details.

How will my tickets reach me?

ANSWER: To further conserve resources, we are not mailing out concert tickets this year, but will have them ready for you at our first concert. We will have a special table in the lobby, with ticket envelopes filed in alphabetical order.  If you are not attending the first concert of the season, your ticket envelope will be waiting for you in Will Call, in the Box Office, on your first concert weekend.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
