Complimentary Student & Educator Tickets
We work closely with school districts throughout Clark County to expand access to live orchestral music for students and educators across the community. Through these partnerships, we provide complimentary concert tickets to students, teachers, and school staff in Clark County districts, including Title I schools and other schools serving economically disadvantaged populations.
In addition, we strive to remove financial barriers for families and students who may not otherwise have the opportunity to attend live performances by offering free ticket access to individuals who indicate financial need. By making concerts more accessible, we aim to ensure that all students, regardless of economic circumstance, can experience the inspiration, creativity, and educational value of live symphonic music.
VSO Education Reference Guide
By providing context before the performance and reinforcing learning afterward, the guide helps students connect more deeply with the live concert experience and encourages continued exploration of orchestral music and the performing arts.
This educational reference guide is designed to help prepare you and your students for the VSO In-School Concert while also serving as a helpful resource after the performance. It includes background information, learning materials, and engaging content that introduce students to the music, instruments, composers, and themes featured in the concert program.
VSO Education Resources
We maintain a growing collection of blogs and podcasts that explore the history and stories behind composers and their works while spotlighting guest artists, VSO musicians, and conductors. In addition, we create short-form video interviews and features for social media, offering audiences a behind-the-scenes look at the people and performances that bring our music to life.
