Ticketing Information

Purchasing Tickets

Tickets may be purchased online at vancouversymphony.org, by calling the VSO office at (360) 735-7278, or at the concert venue beginning one hour before the performance, subject to availability. Buying at the venue does not change the ticket price. We recommend purchasing in advance, as performances may sell out.

2026/27 Subscriptions and Single Tickets

Subscriptions for the 2026/27 Symphonic Series and Nien-Wei Hsiao Chamber Music Series are available to the general public beginning in March 2026. Single tickets for the 2026/27 season go on sale in August 2026.

A $5 processing fee applies to each ticket. Students age 18 and younger, or students with a valid student ID, are eligible for student pricing.

Ticket Exchanges and Donations

We understand that plans change. Tickets may be exchanged for another eligible upcoming VSO concert or donated back to the VSO for another patron to use. Exchange requests are best made before the day of the concert. Call (360) 735-7278 or email thevso@vancouversymphony.org for assistance.

Seating

Seating arrangements vary by performance and venue. Chamber music performances are general admission. Refer to the event page and ticket confirmation email for details about your specific concert.

Planning Your Visit

VSO performances take place at several venues. Your concert location will be listed on the event page and in your ticket confirmation email. Visit vancouversymphony.org/venue-information for venue details. Please note that the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra office shown on Google Maps is not a concert venue.
All VSO concert venues are accessible to individuals with disabilities, and multiple seating options may be available depending on your needs. Please let us know if a caregiver will be assisting you. For specific accessibility questions, call the VSO office at (360) 735-7278.
Parking varies by venue. Please review the event page, ticket confirmation email, or venue information page before attending. Parking may be limited at some performances, so we encourage patrons to plan ahead and carpool when possible.
Please note that the Vancouver Symphony Office on Google Maps is not a concert venue.
Late seating takes place at the discretion of the ushers, usually between pieces or at intermission. You may be asked to wait until an appropriate break in the program before entering the hall.
Most VSO concerts last approximately two hours and include a 15-minute intermission. Program length may vary by performance.
There is no dress code. Casual attire is welcome, and patrons are also invited to dress up if they would like to make the concert a special night out.
Children are welcome, but we encourage families to consider each child’s maturity level and ability to sit quietly through a performance lasting approximately two hours. Student tickets are available for patrons age 18 and younger and for students with a valid student ID. The VSO also offers educational and in-school music opportunities for children of all ages.

During the Performance

Traditionally, audiences wait until the end of the complete work before applauding. For symphonies and concertos, this usually means waiting until the final movement. When in doubt, follow the lead of the rest of the audience.
Filming and flash photography are not permitted during VSO performances. Please silence your phone and dim the screen before the concert begins. Photos are welcome before the concert, during intermission, and after the performance, as long as you are mindful of other patrons.
Food and beverages are not permitted inside the performance space. Water is allowed in a bottle with a tightly secured lid. Please finish or dispose of outside food and beverages before entering the hall.
Concessions are typically available during intermission at symphonic concerts. Items are offered without a set charge, and cash donations are appreciated. Availability may vary by venue and performance.
VSO merchandise is often available in the lobby during intermission. Selections may include items such as stickers, apparel, and other VSO-branded merchandise. Guest artists may also offer recordings for sale and may occasionally sign them during intermission.

Livestreams

Open the concert stream page using the link provided with your virtual ticket. When the stream is available, select the blue “Live Concert Link” button and enter the password provided.
The stream may open with the sound muted, so first check the volume controls in the video player and on your device. Confirm that your internet connection is stable and that you are using an up-to-date version of Chrome, Firefox, or Edge. Restarting your browser, device, router, or modem may also resolve the issue. VSO personnel are available by phone beginning one hour before the performance at (360) 735-7278. You may also email thevso@vancouversymphony.org.
Chamber music performances are not currently livestreamed.
